Oversee and coordinate the scheduling of facilities and services for both on and off-campus organizations
Serve as primary contact and representative to outside organizations
Work with groups from the beginning of the planning process to the completion of the event
Keep clients informed regarding the set-up specifications, insurance requirements and other relevant details pertaining to their event
Guide clients in the preparation of events by interpreting and explaining provisions, policies and procedures
Create computer-generated diagrams for events needing special setups and arrangements
Quote cost estimates for events with the Director
Serve as primary liaison between clients, Facilities Management and Catering services
Facilitate weekly logistics, planning, organizational, event/operation and facility meetings
Provide clear and timely communication of detailed requirements to operational departments
Keep an accurate inventory of department furniture, linens, tents, staging, etc
and locations in the database
Coordinate and create contracts
Supervise administrative office staff that assists with the scheduling and event processing
Oversee set-up crew to ensure that the daily set-up sheet is correct and understood

Robert Half has a client seeking an Event Coordinator commutable to Swarthmore, PA 5x a week (M-F). This is a 6-month contract opportunity.
This candidate will have a four-year college degree with 1-2 years of experience in events.
