The expected hourly pay range for this position with a work schedule of 40 hours per week is $30.00 - $43.50 ($62,400.00 - $+0,480.00 annually)

Cooley is seeking a Event Planning Coordinator to join the Marketing and Business Development team
Position summary: The Event Planning Coordinator will support the events team and wider marketing team with planning, coordination and execution of all client-related, firm-hosted events, seminars, sponsorship opportunities and attorney speaking engagements
This role also includes working within event-related marketing systems, as well as event budgeting and reporting
Coordinate, plan and manage all activities related to firm-hosted events
Work with full events team and other key constituents on event strategy, from pre-event planning to obtaining post-event feedback
Identify and negotiate with appropriate off-site venues and vendors regarding all aspects of events, from food and decor to giveaways
Work closely with colleagues in other departments (catering, office services, technology, receptionists, etc.)
to coordinate on-site event logistics
Create and distribute event communications, event list management, and RSVP tracking and reporting
Create and manage event budgets
Oversee on-site set-up and attendance
Manage virtual events using Zoom
Monitor and maintain marketing SWAG (promotion items) and event collateral
Prepare post-event analysis and reporting
Consistently use the CRM tool to support business development in the firm, including taking ownership of contact information for attorney's contacts and updating, maintaining and resolving conflicts within the CRM tool
All other duties as assigned or required
Ability to develop professional relationships with department members, attorneys and firm staff
Communicate effectively and efficiently with attorneys and professional staff about event arrangements

Skills and experience:
