Responsibilities
As a Global HR Director, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the human resources function across multiple countries and regions on a global scale
Your primary focus will be on developing and executing the global HR strategy, driving HR initiatives, and ensuring alignment with business goals
You will provide strategic leadership, collaborate with regional HR teams, and work closely with Executive management to optimize HR practices globally
This role requires strong leadership skills, knowledge of global HR practices, and the ability to navigate complex international HR landscapes

Develop and implement initiatives to drive company culture
Lead and manage a diverse team of HR professionals, providing guidance and support
Oversee the implementation and standardization of HR policies, processes, and programs globally, (such as performance management, succession planning, and employee development)
Provide strategic guidance to regional HR teams, ensuring consistent HR practices and compliance across multiple countries and regions
Lead and support organizational development and change management initiatives globally
Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and employment practices across various jurisdictions around the globe; understanding the complexities of navigating works councils where applicable
Develop and monitor key HR metrics to assess HR effectiveness, identify trends, and recommend improvements
Lead global HR projects, such as HR system implementations, HR process harmonization, and global talent acquisition strategies
Lead M&A projects
Provide guidance and support on employee relations matters, including dispute resolution, disciplinary actions, and terminations
Manage and oversee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance globally
Collaborate with regional HR teams to support employee engagement initiatives, diversity and inclusion programs, and employee wellness initiatives
Stay informed about industry best practices, employment trends, and emerging HR technologies
