About the Role
The Receptionist is an important role responsible for providing front of house support services to staff and onsite contractors.
Work amongst an energetic team, working both collaboratively & independently across three sites.
You will have a passion for customer service, have an excellent communication style with a ‘Can do” attitude. Your daily focus will be to provide telephone, face to face and onsite support to users regarding meeting room bookings and set up and overseeing facility issues for the North Lakes offices (Central, Links and Cornerstone) of Auto & General.
Position Accountabilities
Take ownership of incoming calls, calendar management and delivery of effective time management
Professionally greet all visitors to the Company and always maintain a corporate image.
Monitor and action incoming phone calls and emails.
Action the activities on the opening and closing checklists for each shift.
Ensure reception is kept clean, tidy, and organised.
Communicate in a concise and effective manner with all levels of staff and management.
Organise and schedule meetings, effectively catering for meetings/functions.
Liaise with corporate clients, customers, and members of the public.
Work closely with Head of Site with various ad hoc tasks and events.
Identify and report potential risks or inadequate controls related to compliance or operational risks.
Champion a culture of risk and compliance across the division.
Maintain awareness, understanding and compliance with Company policies and procedures, including the on-time completion of individual mandatory training.
Monitor staff and guest use of visitor security passes daily.
Check and order supplies for all kitchens weekly and stationary for meeting rooms.
Maintain spare stock for meeting rooms, kitchen supplies and catering stock (tea/coffee and disposables).
What experience you’ll bring;
? 2+ years’ experience in a customer facing role.
? Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal.
? Good time management and ability to prioritise tasks.
? Sound analytical and problem-solving skills.
? Ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously and prioritise issues.
? Strong customer service focus.
? Confident in navigating computer systems, including Microsoft Office and Google apps (Preferred).
