ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Civil Site / Project Engineer to join Groundex, a subsidiary of Ertech, in our Malaga Office with approximately 50/50 split of office and site time to support the project teams and develop your skills and expertise.

As the Civil Engineer you will be responsible for a broad range of activities focussing on piling, retaining, drilling and other geotechnical scopes.

Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Manage the execution of projects on site and assist site personnel
Inspects project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety standards
Contributes to the profitability of team, and considers the impact of costs, time & quality constraints in decision making
Assists with procurement and the management of suppliers and subcontractors
Investigates potential problems and their root causes, and contribute actively in identifying practical solutions
To be successful, you will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering
3-5 years of relevant experience
Strong interest in the practical side of civil engineering
Be willing to get involved in site activities and decision making
As we are in the drilling business you will get hands dirty from time to time!
