Team Member - Garden Department

This role sits within our Garden Department, offering full time hours and a fixed term contract.

Kiwis love to garden, and we love to assist them with their gardening needs. We are looking for experienced retail sales professionals with green fingers and a customer-focused attitude. Your gardening passion may come from time in your own back-yard or you may have undertaken horticultural training – either way you will enjoy helping our customers select the right plants, along with all the dry goods and hardware, whether it’s fertilizers and pest control or gardening gloves and a wheel barrow.

For this position we are looking for someone who has:

Willingness to learn
Excellent communication skills
Previous retail experience and/or experience within this department is essential as we need someone to hit the ground running.
Must have some garden knowledge.

In this role you will report to the Garden Department Manager.

As stated above, the hours for this position will be fulltime which will include at least one weekend day per week.
