Position: Territory Sales Manager
Location: Pune
Assigned Territory: Maharashtra & Goa

Job Description
- To drive the business of cleanroom consumables in high-end biotech and pharma industries who have requirements to comply with the stringent global regulations in the assigned Territories.
- To consolidate the business by strategic identification of products / technologies and services which will form the core offering of the company
- To be overall responsible for tactical and operational functions for end to end business in the assigned territories.
- You will be fully responsible territory sales & marketing operations including business intelligence , identification of competitors, drive the product portfolio-mix, positioning of the identified products for a successful introduction to the market with desired profitability and Return on Investment (ROI)
- You will be responsible for explaining technicality of the products and position the products on the strength of technical superiority, product performance, & documentation.
Key Responsibilities
o Working in close collaboration with the management, you will have total responsibility and accountability for P&L of your assigned territory.
o To Plan and manage various performance parameters like sales forecasting, product requirement forecasting, account receivables etc. for an efficient working of business.
o To build a strong distribution network.
o To establish marketing channels and supply chain to facilitate business development
o To prepare business plans, annual budgets and present periodic review as per requirements of management
o To act upon vision of the company after appropriate consultation with and direction of the management
Key Competency and Experience
o Masters degree in Microbiology or Pharmacy.
o MBA or equivalent Management Degree is preferred
o Overall 6- 8 years related experience in the industry and out of which, minimum 4 years of experience in similar position
o Understanding of Pharmaceutical production technicalities (specially in a sterile cleanroom setup) is desirable.
o Good understanding of consumables market and procurement process of pharma/ biotech industries, customer applications workflow and design effective demand generation programs
o Strong commercial acumen and analytical mind-set
o Understanding of CRM systems and good business analytics skills
o Demonstrated good teamwork, results-orientation and zeal to reach set goals
o Excellent written and verbal English language & presentation and communication skills
o Ability to deal with pressure, workload and capability to prioritize tasks and take quick decisions
o Willingness for domestic travel for ~60% of the time
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
