Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Waitress/Waiter with bartending experience to join our front-of-house team. The ideal candidate will be confident in both table service and bar work, ensuring every guest enjoys excellent food, drinks, and service.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide a warm and welcoming service to all guests.
Take food and drink orders accurately and deliver them promptly.
Prepare and serve a wide range of drinks, including cocktails, wines, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages.
Maintain the bar area, ensuring it is clean, well stocked, and organised.
Offer recommendations on food and drink pairings when appropriate.
Handle payments, operate till systems, and manage tabs with accuracy.
Work closely with the front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service.
Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a waiter/waitress and bartender.
Good knowledge of cocktails, wines, and general bar service.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment.
Well-presented, reliable, and with a positive, professional attitude.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays as required.
Desirable:
Experience working in restaurants or bars with high customer volume.
Knowledge of Italian cuisine and drinks (if relevant to your venue).
