We pride ourselves in providing positive outcomes for our community and offering a supportive working environment to our employees.

In preparation of our grand opening early next year, we are already taking bookings for 2026 and the calendar is filling up fast! Due to this, we have an exciting opportunity to join our passionate team as our Bookings Officer, working part time (4 days per week), between the hours of approx. +am till 3pm.
About the role:
As the Bookings Officer, you will be the main point of contact for venue hirers wishing to book spaces within the Cultural Precinct, including the Old Courthouse and Saltwater, and will work closely with the marketing team to ensure maximum utilisation of the venue.
We are looking for someone with a positive attitude who loves talking to people and is comfortable using an online venue booking system to maintain information. You will be a great communicator and feel confident communicating with a variety of internal / external stakeholders, ensuring a seamless customer service experience from beginning to end.
Your responsibilities will include:
Respond to venue enquiries via phone, email and our online booking platform.
Generate quotes and costings for prospective hirers.
Capture and input booking information into our venue management system.
Assist the Finance Admin Officer with following up payments.
What you will need to succeed:
You will align with our values and be a critical thinker, with the ability to motivate and influence others. Ideally, you will have the following skills and experience:
A minimum of 3 years’ experience within a customer service or sales role.
High level of computer acumen, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Teams.
Experience maintaining a booking system within an events or hospitality environment.
A positive attitude and flexible approach to tasks.
