This 6-month fixed-term contract sits at the heart of our Internal Firm Services team in Technology Solutions, where we drive smarter, people-powered systems to support how PwC works. Based in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland, you play a key role in a major iChris payroll system upgrade — translating business needs into impact, streamlining processes, and helping deliver change that truly makes a difference for our people.

In this role, your responsibilities include:

Leading business analysis and acting as a liaison across HR, Payroll, Finance and Technology

Reviewing and mapping current payroll processes, and supporting future-state design

Gathering and translating business requirements into functional iChris system outcomes

Influencing and building trust with stakeholders to support adoption and collaboration

Supporting end-to-end delivery including testing, training, documentation and rollout

To be successful in this role, you bring:

5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst or similar, with full project lifecycle exposure

2+ years’ hands-on experience with Frontier iChris across at least one system implementation or upgrade

Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate

Proven critical thinking skills and business acumen - able to challenge assumptions and validate needs

Bonus: Familiarity with payroll systems in a global organisation and exposure to AI tools or practices
