Business Development Manager
Location: Hybrid, remote
Role Overview:
We are looking for a results-oriented Business Development Manager who thrives in a people-driven environment. This role is focused on client acquisition, relationship management, and revenue growth in the talent solutions domain. You will be the face of SEARCH UNICORN to potential clients, playing a pivotal role in building a strong pipeline of mandates and expanding our footprint across industries.

Key Responsibilities:
Client Acquisition & Lead Generation (70%)
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in executive search and recruitment services.
- Proactively generate leads via LinkedIn outreach, cold calling, networking, industry forums, and referrals.
- Research target clients and develop a compelling pitch to onboard new accounts.
- Build a steady pipeline of potential clients and nurture relationships with HR leaders, CXOs, and Founders.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management (30%)
- Own the client onboarding process and work closely with internal recruiters to align delivery with client expectations.
- Collaborate on proposal creation, pricing, and closure of contracts in line with business objectives.
- Provide consultative inputs on talent trends, hiring challenges, and market intelligence to position Search Unicorn as a strategic partner.
- Work towards achieving monthly and quarterly revenue targets, tracking metrics and progress regularly.
Who You Are:
- 1-4 years of experience in Client relationship.sales, preferably in recruitment, staffing, or HR services.
- A natural networker and relationship builder with a go-getter mindset.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Passionate about startups, the consumer ecosystem, and talent trends
