Work with PEO vendor to:
Respond to external letters or inquiries related to current or former employees
Process Worker Compensation claims
Provide timely resolution of employee requests and day-to-day Human Resources functions, including but not limited to:
Development and Review of Job Descriptions
Tracking Compliance with Regulatory Trainings
Employee Development Training activities
Maintain on-site and digital files for personnel
OSHA recordkeeping
Work with HR consultant and/or the Chief Operations & Strategy Officer to:
Assist supervisors/managers with coaching staff and managing performance issues
Oversee employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations
Develop or update policies
Identify training or coaching opportunities
Maintain and coordinate employee referral and recognition programs
Assists Executive team to promote teamwork, communication and effective use of staff resources to increase ability to deliver innovative and effective programs with a positive impact
Job description
Position Description: The Human Resources Manager is an essential member of the Administration team and plays a critical role in helping to make Safety Center one of the nations best places to work.
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the management of: employee relations, training, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, employment law compliance and safety.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Personnel and Human Resources:
• Assist with the development and implementation of processes for ongoing improvement of department office operations

Qualifications, Education and/or Experience required:
• Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
• At least two years experience working in Human Resources with direct responsibility for personnel management.
• Knowledge of Federal and State labor and employment laws.
• Professional Certification (SPHR or PHR) is highly desirable but not required.
