The Position
Personnel Analysts are responsible for performing comprehensive personnel functions for a state department, division or agency. Work may involve employee relations, recruitment and selection, classification and compensation, employee development, benefit administration, staffing and payroll.
Under direction, Personnel Analyst I's perform entry level professional personnel work as described in the series concept in one or more functional areas in Human Resource Management or a State agency.
This position is located Carson City and requires statewide travel to schools, colleges, outreach events, and NDOT facilities. The primary duty is to serve as NDOT's outreach, recruitment and placement coordinator for NDOT's Workforce Development Program which includes the Rotational Engineer, Public Service Intern, Educational Assistance/ Preferred Degree, Job-Related College, DOD SkillBridge Internship, Student Worker-Trades, and Kindergarten through 12th grade Programs.
