Product & Furniture Designer (with Merchandising Expertise)

As a Product & Furniture Designer with Merchandising Expertise, you will be a key member of our team in Jaipur, Rajasthan. With 3 to 6 years of experience in luxury furniture/product and interior design, you will bring a high level of creativity and attention to detail to our projects. Your qualifications include a degree from prestigious design institutes like NID, NIFT, Pearl Academy, IICD, INIFD, or their equivalents.

In this role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing bespoke furniture and product designs, ensuring the right materials are sourced to bring each concept to life. You will collaborate with design teams, artisans, and clients to translate briefs into innovative and functional designs. Sourcing appropriate materials, finishes, and hardware will be a key part of your role, aligning with design aesthetics, functionality, and budget.

Your responsibilities will also include working closely with vendors, manufacturers, and suppliers to ensure the quality and timely availability of materials. You will prepare detailed technical drawings, 3D renders, and prototypes for client presentations and production. Staying updated with global design trends, materials innovation, and luxury market aesthetics is crucial to ensure our products are at the forefront of the industry.

To excel in this role, you should have proven experience in luxury furniture and product design, preferably within high-end interior design firms. You must possess a strong eye for aesthetics, proportion, ergonomics, and material finishes. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Rhino, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite is required. Experience in material merchandising, vendor coordination, and sourcing both locally and internationally is also essential.

Excellent communication and presentation skills will be beneficial as you will be managing multiple projects with attention to detail and timelines.
