Responsibilities
You will manage all local HR activities in support of exempt and non-exempt employees
We’ll count on your years of experience to plan, coordinate, and direct the HR functions of the site, maintain a conflict-free workplace, and enhance job satisfaction
Your typical shift will be Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, however, you must be flexible to work additional hours during weekends as priorities change and to meet site needs

Perform employee relations counseling
Regularly spend time on the floor to be visible and interactive with employees to “check the pulse” of the workplace
Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, and other issues
Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures
Work directly with department managers to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on HR matters
Support current and future business needs through leadership and consulting support to management
Obtain and retain a competent, empowered, motivated workforce
Track staffing levels, deployment, turnover, absenteeism, recruitment, compensation, and promotions
Effectively utilize the Kronos system to obtain, store, and analyze pertinent data for payroll and benefits administration
Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high-performance
Drive flexibility, sound judgment, and confidentiality
Job description
We are looking for an onsite Senior Human Resources Manager with advanced interpersonal and communication skills to be an integral part of site HR functions such as team building, payroll, investigations, data analytics, compliance, and special projects. If you have strong HR leadership experience, consider joining us at our site in Southaven, MS. Your Role

Your Skills and Experiences
• Bachelor’s degree in Human
Resources or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 7+ years of progressive HR
experience, including at least 3 years of experience in a distribution or manufacturing
environment
• Strong knowledge of HRIS systems
(e.g., PeopleSoft; UltiPro, Kronos)
• Advanced knowledge of Equal
Employment Opportunity, Compensation and Benefits, FMLA, FLSA, Labor
Relations, and OSHA
• Proficient in Microsoft Word,
Excel, and PowerPoint
• Exceptional investigation and conflict
resolution experience
• HR certification is preferred
