The Senior Project Accountant at AllPoints Fibre will manage all aspects of project accounting and reporting with a focus on Fixed Assets and Inventory. Reporting in to the Financial Controller the role will play a key part in enhancing our project reporting.
We are searching for a ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified project accountant with experience managing fixed asset and inventory for a company, ideally in a similar industry or similar level of reporting requirements.
What You Will Be Doing
• Ownership of the accounting and reporting of our core operations, this includes Inventory and Fixed Assets.
• Working with the Financial Controller to set up a company wide process for tracking our infrastructure build (FA’s) to enable in depth analysis to investors.
• Management of our FA register
• Management of our Stock & WIP
• Working across the business with heads of departments to develop robust accounting processes for key projects.
• Work closely with the FC on any technical Finance projects or requirements across the company.
• Management, support and development of one direct report initially with a view to building out a Financial Accounting team as the company grows.
About You
The role would suit a driven candidate with a project accounting background and a desire to be part of an innovative growth journey. We are looking for someone who embraces change and enjoys the challenge of utilising technology and their experience to optimise the finance function. We are a high growth company with strong investor focus, there will be opportunity to work outside of your defined role and across the business on interesting projects and tasks due to the nature of the business.
You will have experience of managing fixed asset and inventory for a company in a similar industry or with similar level of reporting requirements and be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.
This is a Hybrid role with, ideally, two days per week being based in our Reading office.
