Responsibilities
This role offers an incredible opportunity to work with a growing financial firm, where you will be responsible for preparing, analyzing, and reviewing tax returns and ensuring compliance with federal and state tax laws
Prepare and review federal and state income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
Analyze financial records, reports, and tax return data
Research, analyze, and interpret tax laws and provide guidance to clients and management
Develop tax strategies to assist clients in being tax-compliant and tax-efficient
Assist with federal, state, and local tax audits
Keep abreast of current developments in the tax area
Provide support with various internal and external financial audits
Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely tax reporting
Provide guidance and support to junior staff members
