Job Description for Financial Operations Specialist at vewhere
Role Summary
As a Financial Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, accounting operations, and supporting financial processes across teams while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and data integrity.
Key Responsibilities
• Post transactions (Sales, Purchase, Journal) in Tally Prime, ensuring seamless financial record-keeping.
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), handle invoicing, reimbursements, and vendor payments with precision.
• Prepare Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), delivery challans, e-invoices, and e-way bills to streamline inventory management and compliance.
• File GST returns (GSTR-1, 3B, Annual), reconcile Input Tax Credit (ITC) with GSTR-2B, and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Handle Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) payments, returns, and foreign payments (15CA/CB) accurately and efficiently.
• Perform monthly stock and bank reconciliations (BRS) to maintain up-to-date financial records.
• Support financial closures, Management Information System (MIS) reports, and payroll review to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Maintain accurate and compliant financial records, adhering to regulatory requirements.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Chartered Accountant (CA) Intermediate or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) certification is preferred.
• Proven experience in accounting, Tally Prime, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong knowledge of Goods and Services Tax (GST), Tax Deducted at Source (TDS), audits, and reconciliations.
• Detail-oriented individual with strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Able to multitask, maintain confidentiality, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
