Responsibilities
As a Corporate Paralegal, you will be responsible for
Assisting with all aspects of corporate transactions, including M&A and financing transactions
Preparing and filing UCC financing statements and amendments
Drafting, reviewing, and revising legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate resolutions
Managing and organizing various corporate documents and records
Conducting legal research and preparing legal memoranda
Coordinating due diligence for various transactions
Assisting with corporate governance matters, including preparing materials for board meetings and maintaining corporate minute books
Providing general support to the legal department as needed

We are seeking a seasoned Corporate Paralegal for our dynamic Mortgage industry team. This is a permanent, full-time position that will offer the successful candidate an exciting opportunity to be a part of our legal department, assisting in various corporate transactions and legal projects. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of Corporate Paralegal experience, with a strong background in Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), Financing Transactions, Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), and Document Management. The candidate should also possess excellent organizational skills and legal writing abilities.

Responsibilities

As a Corporate Paralegal, you will be responsible for
• Assisting with all aspects of corporate transactions, including M&A and financing transactions.
• Preparing and filing UCC financing statements and amendments.
• Drafting, reviewing, and revising legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate resolutions.
• Managing and organizing various corporate documents and records.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Excellent legal writing skills and proficiency in drafting and reviewing various legal documents.

• A bachelor's degree in law or related field. Paralegal certification is a plus.
• Strong research skills and familiarity with legal databases.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as part of a team.
