Tax Services Group
Our Tax Services Group is comprised of a brilliant team of tax specialists who ensure accurate and timely tax reporting obligations while minimizing or deferring tax payments. We have comprehensive knowledge of international, US federal, state, and local regulations, including our affiliation with HLB international, which enables us to develop economical tax strategies worldwide.
Our services include Business, Individual, State & Local tax, R&D Tax Credit, International, and Private Client services. We provide expert guidance to help our clients navigate complex tax laws and regulations.

Your Role
• Review and analyze complex partnership, corporation (Single & Consolidation returns), and S Corporation returns prepared by staff/senior/AM.
• Resolve queries related to potential tax adjustments due to tax law changes.
• Identify international filing requirements through Org chart study and review international tax returns.
• Train existing/new joiners on concepts and technology, providing timely feedback on projects reviewed.
• Supervise kick-off and regular connects with US counterparts, intervening in budget conflicts and resource scheduling issues.
• Guide teams on efile validation of returns to prevent rejects and errors.
• Manage and coach aligned professionals for their career development.
• Ensure quality and turnaround of returns for aligned office/niche.
• Provide regular and detailed feedback, motivating teams during tax seasons.
• Maintain good correspondence with US point of contacts for seamless process flow and regularly touch-base with schedulers to keep teams occupied and share return status.
• Execute assignments effectively, including appropriate delegation and monitoring of work.
• Assist in hiring as needed to place potential candidates.
• Assist leadership teams with analyzing data and providing insights to inform their plans.
• Have regular connects with aligned professionals to discuss potential opportunities for growth of the business and team members.
• Conduct performance reviews of aligned professionals and provide clear career paths for growth.
• Provide constructive feedback along with potential opportunities for improvement and growth.
Requirements
• Minimum 7 to 10 years of post-qualification hands-on experience with a U.S. accounting firm.
• Chartered Accountant or CPA preferred.
• Experience and knowledge of the U.S. Tax Code required.
• At least 5 years of leading multiple engagements and supervising staff.
• Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal communication.
• Strong commitment to an entrepreneurial work ethic.
• Able to analyze and prioritize information to make recommendations.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously and communicate effectively with Domestic (US) engagement teams.
