Do you want to get experience supporting young people's mental health?

An amazing prupose built school in Aldermaston are looking for a pro-active graduate or individual to join their team as a Youth Mental Health Worker. The school cater to children with additional needs in the Pangbourne area. As a Youth Mental Health Worker you will collaborate with on-site Psychologists, Therapists and Behaviour Specialists to ensure the highest quality of care for the students.

The students at the school face a range of challenges related to their social, emotional and mental health needs and encounter barriers throughout the school day. As a Youth Mental Health Worker, you will be their first line of support and provide role-model guidance, support and reassurance. The Youth Mental Health Worker's responsibiilities will include attending team meetings with specialised staff, implementing therapeutic techniques, identifying triggers and coping mechanisms and encouraging self-regulation.

• 8:30 - 3:30
• £80-£95 daily wage
• Based in Aldermaston
