Full job description
The Role
We are looking for a Senior Internal Event Coordinator to lead the planning and delivery of a diverse portfolio of internal and club events throughout the year. This role is pivotal to leading each event to the highest of standards.

You will be responsible for the coordination and management of all internal events from booking stage to event delivery, including the operational delivery and client facing interaction.

Who we are
We are one of the most famous clubs in world football, with a rich heritage and history of success – read more about our history, here.

Beyond that, we are passionate about our local community and, behind the scenes, we have a wide variety of opportunities and career paths for all. We have a very defined purpose: to act for a winning team, culture and community. We achieve this by ensuring we are courageous in the pursuit of progress, we champion our community and each other, and that we do the right thing (even when no one is looking).

Your day-to-day
Champion event coordination - you will lead on all aspects of internal events from end-to-end planning and delivery including The Arsenal Foundation Ball, club days and celebrations, pitch events, anniversary dinners and partner and sponsor events
Oversee operational and logistical planning - you’ll ensure that the venue set up and other logistical necessities are in line with customer and stadium security requirements, brand standards and compliant with health and safety guidelines, and you will also manage event collateral and maintain adequate stock levels
Support the Operations team - you will produce comprehensive and accurate event sheets which ensure the correct information is communicated to the operational departments, and you'll help with specific club events and attend weekly operational meetings
Sustain cost efficiency - you will control all operational costs for internal events, ensuring these are delivered as cost-effectively as possible whilst also managing recharge codes and ensuring all financial reconciliation
Take a lead role with management of event day staff - you’ll oversee casual event staff such as function Stewards during internal events, following compliance with all stadium security protocols and procedures and assisting in the operational delivery of all stadium areas on event days
Proactive team player - you will support the Operations team with specific club events and provide additional support across the wider Events team to assist in the delivery of other events as required, and you'll provide support to the Senior Events & Experience Manager with team tasks as and when required

What we are looking for
Proven experience in a similar events environment - you have relevant experience within an events, hospitality or customer service focused environment
Customer focused approach - you have a passion for first class customer service, and you're committed to exceeding expectations, obtaining experience within a fast paced, pressurised, and heavily client focused environment
Outstanding organisational skills - you show excellent organisation and attention to detail, with administration experience within a pressurised, heavily customer focused environment, with the ability to manage a fast-paced and varied workload
Presentation and IT skills - you are able to demonstrate intermediate experience using all Microsoft applications
Dedicated team player - you can actively cooperate and communicate with others, building and maintaining positive working relationships to foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration
Clear communicator - you sustain the ability to communicate with a broad range of internal and external customers, adapting style and approach as and when required
Proactive mindset - you are creative and innovative, always seeking to improve and add value to your team and event operations, and you show willingness to create and implement new ideas, acting upon opportunities to improve the supporter and customer experience and to learn new personal skills
Ambassador for our club - you act with honesty and integrity, delivering tasks with skill and urgency with a passion for achieving club, departmental and individual success, always supporting club decisions and following through on commitments made, behaving in alignment to our club values
