Job description, work day and responsibilities
Deploy, manage, and maintain cloud resources (e.g., virtual machines, storage, networks) in AWS Cloud.
Implement and manage infrastructure as code solutions using tools like CloudFormation.
Ensure high availability and performance of cloud infrastructure.
Implement and manage monitoring tools to track the health, performance, and capacity of cloud resources.
Analyze monitoring data to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and optimize resource utilization.
Implement and enforce security policies and procedures to protect cloud infrastructure and data to meet industry standard compliance.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Automate routine tasks and processes using scripts.
Develop and maintain infrastructure automation scripts and tools.
Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Work within the technical team & other teams to identify and resolve complex technical problems.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of cloud infrastructure and processes.
Share knowledge and expertise with other team members.
Server Administration:
Linux/ Windows Server Administration and Management.
Knowledge of Linux/Windows Panels (cPanel, WHM, Plesk)
Installing, configuring, and maintaining various types of servers (physical and virtual) based on specific needs. This may involve setting up operating systems, user accounts, security measures, and applications.
Keeping a watchful eye on server performance metrics like CPU usage, memory, storage, and network activity. Identifying and troubleshooting any performance bottlenecks or issues that could impact system uptime and user experience.
Implementing and maintaining robust security protocols to safeguard server systems from unauthorized access, malware, and other threats. Establishing regular backup procedures to ensure data recovery in case of system failures.
Diagnosing and resolving server hardware and software issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operation.
Collaborating with end-customers to resolve server-related problems and answer technical questions on the helpdesk tickets.
Deliverables will include ticket ownership, response, resolution and update and handle escalated tickets from various levels.
Ensure adherence to customer SLAs across all levels
Requirements
Preferred candidate profile
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in cloud administration, preferably with [Cloud Platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)].
Proven experience in provisioning, managing, and troubleshooting cloud resources.
Proven Experience and knowledge of Linux/Windows Panels (cPanel, WHM, Plesk)
Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Web hosting background preferred
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in , Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a customer success or account management role Proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with CRM software a plus Deep understanding of the IT industry (a plus)
