As we continue to expand our capabilities and evolve our market-leading approach, we are seeking an accomplished Digital and Growth Lead to join our Melbourne team in a full-time capacity. This is a hybrid role requiring up to three days per week in our office to enable close collaboration with our strategy, trading, and client services teams. About the Role
As the Digital and Growth Lead at Media Partners, you will play a pivotal role in defining and delivering the agency’s digital vision. You will drive revenue growth by developing innovative strategies, securing new business, and elevating our strategic product offering. This is a senior role that blends hands-on leadership, business development, and strategic advisory across our most important client relationships.
Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Develop and deliver integrated digital strategies spanning Paid Search, Paid Social, SEO, Content, CRM, and Analytics
Translate client business objectives into actionable plans that drive acquisition, conversion, and retention
Define clear measurement frameworks and success metrics tied to business outcomes
Embed emerging best practices across performance marketing, digital brand building, and marketing technology
Collaborate closely with Directors, Partners, and the wider team to refine Media Partners’ strategic frameworks and tools
Business Development & Revenue Growth
Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with prospective clients
Lead development of commercial proposals, pitch presentations, and business cases
Build and maintain a pipeline to achieve ambitious quarterly revenue targets
Drive growth within existing client portfolios by identifying strategic opportunities and cross-selling services
Support pricing strategies, negotiations, and contract development to optimise profitability
Client Leadership & Growth
Act as the senior strategic advisor across retained and project-based clients
Facilitate client workshops, planning sessions, and executive presentations
Develop high-quality proposals, campaign frameworks, and performance analyses
Build strong, trust-based relationships with senior stakeholders, including CMOs and Marketing Directors
Capability Development
Mentor and coach account managers, digital specialists, and future leaders
Develop and deliver training sessions to uplift strategic and commercial capabilities
Support recruitment, onboarding, and the development of a high-performance culture
Who You Are
A seasoned digital marketing professional with a minimum of 10 years’ experience, including at least 5 years in senior leadership or business development roles within an agency or consultancy environment
Demonstrated success driving revenue growth and securing new business
Deep expertise across SEM, SEO, Paid Social, Content, CRM, and Analytics
Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing, revenue forecasting, and building business cases
High proficiency in Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, GA4, and marketing technology solutions
Confident communicator with exceptional written and verbal skills, including experience leading C-suite discussions and pitch delivery
Organised, detail-oriented, and able to balance strategic priorities with hands-on leadership
Passionate about growth—for clients, teams, and the agency
Desirable
Experience driving growth in high-performance environments such as eCommerce, SaaS, or B2B marketing
Prior involvement in developing agency IP, thought leadership content, or marketing assets
Familiarity with Australian data privacy and compliance requirements
