Responsibilities
As an HR Generalist II, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our employees and ensuring a positive work environment
You will have the opportunity to engage in various HR functions, such as recruitment, compliance, employee development, and employee relations
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviews and onboarding
Administer benefits programs, including enrollment, changes and terminations
Assist in the resolution of employee relations issues, including conducting investigations and recommending appropriate solutions
Maintain accurate and up to date employee records and HR
Examine unemployment compensation claims, identify and forward discrepancies in claims; compiles data on claims and secures witnesses for unemployment compensation claims hearings
Continuous interaction with department contacts and making regular visits to ensure understanding of processes and give support for one-on-one training and questions
Facilitate human resource transactions, including promotions, demotions, transfers, terminations and maintenance of relevant documents and records
Create employee engagement plans, obtain necessary budget approval and initiating activities
Coordinate in-house communication & community communication programs

• Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar HR role
• 3+ years of experience within a manufacturing facility with increasing levels of responsibility
• Solid understanding of HR principles, procedures, and best practices
