Are you passionate about HR and looking to make a difference in the education sector? Wrenn School in Wellingborough is seeking a dedicated HR Officer to be the first point of contact for all HR-related matters.
Job Title: HR Officer
Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
Salary: £30,55+ - £32,654 – Grade 6 (NJC Points 18-22)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Pattern: 37 hours per week

About the HR Department:
The Human Resources Team at Creative Education Trust is dedicated to providing professional, pragmatic, and solutions-focused support to our schools on all people-related matters. Our team is responsible for delivering the People Strategy, which aims to make each of our academies a great place to work and to position Creative Education Trust as an employer of choice for both teaching and non-teaching professionals.
Our experienced Director of Human Resources, along with regional HR Business Partners, collaborates with Principals and Head Teachers to create an environment that attracts, engages, and retains a high-performing workforce. This is essential for delivering an excellent education to our students.
About You:
As the HR Officer you will be organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently. You will be a strong communicator, both written and verbal, and have a solid understanding of HR processes and policies. Additionally, you are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Our ideal candidate would:
• Be experienced in working in a busy HR Department
• Have knowledge of HR policies and processes, including file management and absence
• Have a professional demeanour and a regard for discretion and confidentiality.
Requirements:
To apply for the HR Office opportunity, you must hold:
• GCSE or equivalent in English & Maths
• 12+ months in a HR related field
• A solid understanding of safeguarding, GDPR and HR policies
