Do you have a passion for retail, fragrance, and marketing strategy? The Scented Market — a proudly Ontario-based, woman-owned candle and wellness brand — is looking for a results-driven, highly organized Sales & Marketing Manager to join our growing team and help us scale across North America.
As we continue our retail and wholesale expansion (yes, including into the USA!), we’re seeking a strategic leader to oversee sales performance, marketing operations, customer engagement, and brand visibility.
Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Marketing Manager to lead our marketing efforts and drive sales growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in digital marketing, sales, and e-commerce, with a proven ability to develop effective marketing strategies that resonate with our target audience. This role requires creativity, analytical skills, and a passion for staying ahead of industry trends.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
Manage advertising campaigns across various platforms, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Optimize website content for SEO to improve search engine rankings and enhance user experience. This will include writing Blog post.
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and understand customer needs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product management to ensure successful product launches.
Utilize Canva to create engaging marketing materials, including graphics, videos, and presentations.
Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to refine strategies and improve ROI.
Oversee the company’s Shopify sites, ensuring content is up-to-date and reflective of current marketing initiatives.
Manage Candle our Fundraising program, our Etsy store and our brand events.
These responsibilities are not limited too.
Requirements
Proven experience in sales and marketing management roles for over 1 year.
Strong knowledge of digital marketing techniques including SEO, e-commerce strategies, and advertising best practices.
Experience using Canva for creating marketing collateral.
Excellent research skills to analyze market trends and consumer behaviour.
Strong communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
A degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Strong experience with Sales and hitting sales targets.

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour
